With insights only a Division-1 scout could possess, Alex Swenson knows the details of college baseball recruitment like the back of his hand. Despite being undersized in high school, Alex managed to capture the attention of D-1 scouts, and became a 3-time captain for the Jacksonville University Dolphins. His successful D1 baseball career was soon followed by a career in D1 baseball coaching, scouting, & recruiting with Jacksonville, Georgetown and Ole Miss.

Securing his position on a D1 team was no easy task–it required taking the initiative and a lot of action. But without guidance, you and your son may be looking in the wrong place or spinning your wheels, leading to a suboptimal offer or none at all.
